Your website can be much more than a signpost on the Internet; it can make you money if you add good ecommerce tools to it. On Joomla, there are 3 extensions that I regularly install and use on my client's websites.

Hikashop for Ecommerce

I highly recommend Hikashop, an ecommerce extension that is available in several versions. I can help you integrate the appropriate version into your site. If you only have a handful of products to sell, you can use the Starter version that is free to download.

Hikashop will also handle product sales, including collecting the appropriate taxes and shipping. You can use a number of payment gateways with Hikashop, including PayPal and Authorize.net. It also provides what you need to run an Affiliate program, so that you can pay commissions to customers who refer others to you.

Hikashop can provide full order support, including capturing billing and shipping information, merchant account and PayPal connections, invoices, packing slips, and automated receipts. NS Pro for Email Marketing

NS Pro can capture names and email addresses to help you build a list to which you can market your products and services. You can create and upload your own email templates, use one of the built-in templates, or customize one of their templates. NS Pro will also track the open rates, and keep statistics on whether your emails bounce, and why.

If you want a more sophisticated platform for email marketing, we can discuss options such as MailChimp or ActiveCampaign, both of which I have used. Both require monthly fees, which is why I recommend using NS Pro initially, because of its low-cost annual subscription. 

Events Booking

If your business includes a lot of events that could use a good calendar to display them, then Events Booking is the obvious choice. The Events Booking extension has multiple methods by which you can display your event information, including small and large calendars, events by category with several methods to filter them, and list views to make the display more compact on your site.
