Toolie Garner founded Tooliedotter Press in 2003, after 10 years at Microsoft. She works with entrepreneurs, small business owners, and associations to help them make the most of the websites they already own, and empower them to manage their sites themselves. Her decades in the software industry give her an unusal level of expertise as a web designer.
Toolie has delivered technical presentations in 24 countries, and conducted over 125 webinars teaching small business owners how to maintain their own web presence. Toolie has consulted with over 120 businesses, helping them find their strengths and capitalize on them. She's assisted them with everything from website creation to online and offline marketing to content development based on their intellectual property.
Toolie discovered Joomla in 2010 after her own search for better software for medium to large websites. Joomla is easy to set up and to add content, and its internal architecture is well-crafted for handling large numbers of pages. Toolie uses Joomla for client websites as well as her own. She uses Amazon Web Services to provide more powerful web servers for her clients when their websites outgrow standard hosting.
Toolie discovered Wild Apricot for membership sites in 2021 after trying a half-dozen other solutions for her association clients. Wild Apricot has nearly every feature you could want for a membership site; you can read more about it here.
You can reach Toolie by email, phone, or mail. She welcomes comments and suggestions from her visitors. Schedule a 30-minute no-obligation session online, or call her toll-free at 1-877-4TOOLIE (877-486-6543).
